Podiatrist of the Italian National Football Team from 1998 to 2016, currently Official Podiatrist of A.C. Milan, A.C. Monza and Juventus F.C.
Graduated in Podiatry at the University of Bologna, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, Master in Podiatry of Sport, he works as a Podiatrist in his own office in Rome, Via dei Gracchi 187.
From 1998 to 2016 he collaborates with the Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio. with the qualification of Podiatrist of the Italian National Football Team (also of the minor national teams). From 2017 to 2018 he collaborates with the following Chinese teams: Jiangsu Suning F.C. and Guangzhou Evergrande TaoBao F.C. (2018); Tianjin Quanjian F.C. (2017).
Since 2005, he has been the official Podiatrist of the soccer club A.C. MILAN S.p.A.
Since 2014 he is the official podiatrist of Juventus Football Club S.p.A..
Since 2019 he is the official podiatrist of A.C. Monza S.p.A.

Podiatric Treatment
Basic podiatric treatment begins with a general examination, trying to understand the reasons that have caused the problem, for example the use of the wrong footwear, an incorrect way of walking or a mycosis.
Baropodometric examination
It offers the possibility to evaluate subjects affected by podalic problems and postural disorders, both in static and dynamic phase, providing information on the distribution of the pressure load at the plantar surface.
Plantar Orthotics
The Plantar Orthotics is made entirely to measure to correct and compensate for problems of support and posture.
Orthoplasty
Orthoplasty is the discipline that directly treats the functional correction of osteo-articular segments that afflict the toes by means of silicone orthoses.
Nail Re-Education
With appropriate methods, the podiatrist corrects and modifies the curvature of growth of the nails subject to involution, which can cause injury to the nail bed.
Warts Treatment
At the Prati Podiatry Studio, warts are removed using the most appropriate methods, from Laser Therapy to Cryotherapy or with keratolytic or acid preparations.
Onychocryptosis - Ingrown toenail
The Podiatrist removes the nail portion causing the injury, prescribes specific dressings made by the patient under the supervision of the specialist until complete healing of the injured tissue is achieved.
Laser Therapy
Laser therapy is successfully used in the case of warts, onychomycosis, muscular tendon pain, vascular, diabetic or post-traumatic ulcers.
Running Lab
In our specialized running lab center we start from the postural, biomechanical, pressure and videographic evaluation of running to achieve not only the improvement of performance and athletic gesture, but also for the re-education of movement aimed at injury prevention.

Dr. Gennari Interviews
Our history begins in the 70’s with my Father who was a Podiatrist and I followed in his footsteps. Nowadays there is a University Degree with a great evolution in the health field.
For over 20 years I’ve been in the sporting environment, from the National Team to the most important football clubs. Working with professional athletes allows you to deal with dynamic situations, building a unique experience that you can then take into your daily life.
The foot is a tool for the footballer and, as such, must be kept in the best conditions. For this reason, in the Health Staff of the National Team, there is a Podiatrist.
How does this professional work? Dr. Gennari explains how: “There is a dermatological part of the foot such as calluses, nail problems, blisters. Then a postural and biomechanical part that concerns the support of the feet, the distribution of loads, with the possible realization of Plantar Orthotics that can be used both inside the shoes, both in leisure time.
Let’s dedicate ourselves to women who, unlike men, wear shoes with heels sometimes very high. The recommended heel ranges from 2 to 4 cm. The best shoe is not too low nor too high, does not have a narrow sole, does not have low uppers.

“… A foot to have a correct support should have an even distribution of load over its entire surface. Where there are overloads, if they bring pain, we intervene for example with the realization of plantar orthotics to be inserted inside the footwear.”
We dedicate ourselves today to the attention and care of the feet from a point of view of good support, we will deal with the feet of athletes who are about to face the upcoming Olympics.
