The ortoplastia is the science that studies the functional correction of bone and joint segments affecting the toes through orthoses silicone.
Its function is to modify the articular relations for the improvement of organ function. More simply seeks to put in place functional fingers, which over time have suffered significant changes.
The ortoplastia is mainly based on the imagination of the operator, together with an excellent knowledge of the biomechanics of the foot. In fact know the joint movements of the foot, allows to reach a resolution of the problems more effectively.
It occurs when all’ortoplastia fingers have a stiffening of joints, or when they are too contracted (eg. Label), or when the proximity of a finger to the other creates a thickening hyperkeratotic.
